CustomApp (Pty) Ltd (“CustomApp”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a member of the Cardinal Group, is committed to protecting your privacy and to ensuring that your personal information is collected and used properly, lawfully and transparently. This Policy applies to this website (customapp.co.za), our services and any other interaction you have with us.

The information we collect
We collect and process your personal information mainly to contact you for the purposes of understanding your requirements and delivering services accordingly. The information we may collect includes:

- Login details, where an account is created
- Billing and payment information
We collect information directly from you where you provide us with your personal details. Where possible, we will inform you what information you are required to provide to us and what information is optional.

We may disclose your personal information to our service providers, and to affiliates and partners within the Cardinal Group, who are involved in the delivery of products or services to you. Cross-border transfers
Your information may be stored or processed outside South Africa, including through cloud infrastructure providers. Where this occurs, we will ensure that the recipient is subject to a law, binding corporate rules or a binding agreement that provides an adequate level of protection substantially similar to POPIA.

- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@customapp.co.za and specify your request. We will need a copy of your ID document to confirm your identity before providing or amending personal information. An access request may be subject to payment of a legally allowable fee.
Definition of personal information
According to POPIA, “personal information” means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and, where applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person.
Children’s privacy
Our services are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Policy from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
